Coastal North Carolina is hard on a house. Salt air, humidity and shade grow mildew on siding and green on concrete, and paint laid over any of that fails inside a season. So we do both halves ourselves: soft-wash the surface down until it is actually clean, let it dry, then prep and paint it. No coordinating two outfits, no arguing about whose prep failed. S&S is Brad Sasser and a small crew who have been painting and washing houses on this stretch of coast for 25+ years. You call the number on the van and you get Brad. He walks the job, quotes it free, and the same faces come back and do the work. There is a military discount for the Camp Lejeune community, and when it is finished there is a sign in the yard, which is a decent bet on the result.
Home base is Old Folkstone Road, the stretch running between Holly Ridge and Sneads Ferry, so the island is a short trip either way. We work Sneads Ferry, Holly Ridge, Surf City, North Topsail Beach, Topsail Beach, Hampstead, Jacksonville, Swansboro and Richlands. Somewhere else in Onslow or Pender County? Call and ask.
